I'm from rural Pennsylvania and for the past three years, have studied in Upstate New York. Sophomore Year, I studied in St. Petersburg Russia and fell in lust with the city, the language, and the people. I'm afriad of tight, closed-in spaces. And vast, open spaces. My majors were Anthropology and Sociology as an undergraduate. I'm not sure I'll be going to graduate school anytime soon. When I was five, I wanted to be a Priest or a Ballerina. Now, I work as a librarian and peer tutor. Art might be the key motivation for my getting up in the morning. Seeing things in a new light, experimenting with colors and mediums, and being in the presence of pretty things. The love of my life is quickly becoming oil painting, a place once held by porcelin work. Other mediums I frequent include digital art, sketch, and photography.
